11 सितंबर सन 1897 में हुए सारागढ़ी का युद्ध दुनिया के 8 सबसे खतरनाक युद्ध मे से एक माना जाता है
दरअसल अफ़ग़ान और अंग्रेजो में मध्य बहुत पहले से युद्ध जारी थे
इसका कारण सीधा सा था अंग्रेजो की विस्तारवादी नीति और अफ़ग़ानों की हमलावर पृवर्ती
उस जमाने मे अखंड भारत की सीमाएं अफ़ग़ानिस्तान से मिलती थी और अफ़ग़ान और भारत की सीमा पर दो किले हुआ करते थे
एक था लॉकहार्ट का किला और एक सारागढ़ी का किला
लॉकहार्ट के किले पर बड़ी अंग्रेजी फौजे थी जबकि सारागढ़ी के किले पर सिर्फ 21 सिख सैनिक
इस वजह से अफ़ग़ानों ने पहला हमला सारागढ़ी के किले पर ही किया क्योंकि यहाँ सिर्फ 21 सिख सैनिक थे
पर जब हमला हुआ तो ये 21 सिख इतने भारी पड़े की 10 हजार अफ़ग़ानों को उल्टा लौटना पड़ा गया
यह युद्ध सिखों और भारतीय सेना की वीरता की कहानी बयां करता है

Friends, the battle of Saragarhi was the most dangerous war on Akhand Bharata. In which only 21 Sikhs fought war with 10 thousand Afghans. and not only fought the war but forced the Afghans to return to the reverse
The Battle of Saragarhi which took place on September 11, 1897 is considered one of the 8 most dangerous battles in the world.
In fact the war between the Afghans and the British was going on for a long time.
The reason for this was simply the expansionist policy of the British and the aggressive nature of the Afghans.
At that time the borders of Akhand Bharata met with Afghanistan and there used to be two forts on the border of Afghanistan and India.
One was Lockhart's fort and one was Saragarhi fort.
There was a large British army on the fort of Lockhart whereas only 21 Sikh soldiers were on the fort of Saragarhi.
Because of this the Afghans first attacked the fort of Saragarhi because there were only 21 Sikh soldiers.
But when the attack took place  these 21 Sikhs were so heavy that 10 thousand Afghans had to return back.
This war tells the story of valor of Sikhs and Indian Army.
