You guys missed me!? ^-^ Sorry about the long wait but i'm back with more retro selections. If you want a reason as to why I didn't upload when I said I’d uploaded, let's just say life got in the way and delayed my work. By the way, a few requests have been worked into this batch so I hope you enjoy. I decided not to cover 3DS in this batch like I said I would.
I decided to try and redeem myself a little from DS Mario Circuit so I bring to you Shroom Ridge! The most popular song that i've been getting requests for in the DS department (aside Rainbow Road). I'm still playing around with Panning and NI's Funk Guitarist. The horn section is back again along with my lead guitarist soloing it out towards the end like a boss! xD
I actually made a remix of this already (similar to SNES Mario Circuit) but I didn't feel as though it was ready so I went back and edited it until I got it right. I'm still having trouble with the Kick/Bass Drum fighting for attention with the Bass Synth but this is the best blend I got with my current knowledge of mixing.
Speaking of which, I actually picked up a class in Audio Engineering so I hope to bring more balanced music in the future so they can stop coming out so....Midi-like.
