Do EMG 81 pickups really
Do EMG 81 pickups really sound the same no matter what guitar you put them in? Do guitar tone woods matter? We find out in today's video!
Here I have a 2019 Jim Root Fender Stratocaster and a 2009 Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Custom. The construction of the guitars and woods between them are different but they both have an EMG 81 pickup in the bridge.
I do a high gain test, AB'ing both guitars to find out if they sound any different. Let me know in the comments below if you think they sound different or the exact same.

2019 USA Fender Stratocaster Jim Root Signature Model
- Body: Mahogany
