Traditional Swiss Village - Elm, Glarus

Elm in the canton of Glarus is one of the most beautiful villages I have ever visited. It is easily accessible by bus from Schwanden with the journey taking about 25 minutes. Located in the Sernftal at an elevation of 977m, it is surrounded by the the Glarus Alps. The village contains beautiful historical buildings and is well worth a visit even if it is just a short walk up and down the main street.
