Capital budgeting is a process that is used to decide which investment opportunities to pursue with a company's capital. There are various techniques in Capital Budgeting useful for investment decision like Pay Pack Period (PBP), Discounted Pay Pack Period (DPBP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Modified Internal Rate of Return (MIRR), Average Rate of Return (ARR), Profitability Index (PI) and many more.
We have given the general explanation and concepts of Capital Budgeting/ Investment Decisions. Also, we have solved a numerical problem related to pay Back period. Our upcoming videos would cover other techniques including NPV, IRR, ARR, PI, DPBP and so on.
