BAE Systems Global Combat Ship - Australia (GCS-A)

‘Build these ships well – our sailors deserve nothing less’ - Australia’s Chief of Navy Vice Admiral Tim Barrett has welcomed the announcement this morning that BAE Systems is the preferred tenderer for our Future Frigate project.

Nine ships, 4,000 jobs with the first of the new Hunter Class due for service in the late 2020s.
