🎸 A classical guitar is an acoustic musical instrument used in classical music that is often played with bare fingers or fingernails. They usually have 12 frets, and most of them follow the traditional design of the Spanish classical guitar developed by Antonio Torres Jurado. Some of them follow the Flamenco design, which is more modern and has a different construction.
🎸 Despite these two primary varieties, new hybrids have sprouted up on the market. Many changes have been introduced to improve the tonal abilities or to lower costs for the manufacturer and buyers. Other changes have been made simply to improve the traditional design.
