Interviewee: Laxmi Narayan Tripathi. About Laxmi: Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi, originally from Uttar Pradesh,India is a Transgender Activist , popularly known as Lakshmi. She is the first transgender to represent the Asia Pacific region in the UN General Assembly Presidents office. She is a founder of "Astitva", an organisation for the development of sexual minorities in India. Laxmi is thirty years old Hijra Guru, a famous Bharatnatyam dancer and dance instructor.
