In this video I am
In this video I am continuing my new to vinyl playback journey by looking at the effects of the turntable platter for sound quality.
I have started my vinyl journey with the AVID HiFi Ingenium Plug and Play turntable which is essentially a record player setup ready to use from the factory. There is an upgrade path for it and one of the upgrades is the platter. You can replace the HDF Platter for a solid aluminium platter that weighs more than double. I was keen to hear what difference this might make and was shocked by just how much difference.
