Hong Kong anti-government protesters were busy on several university campuses, fortifying positions as well as making and testing makeshift weapons in preparation for possible battles with police. The morning of Friday, November 15, 2019, was relatively calm, but commuters were still fighting to navigate blocked roads, cancelled bus routes and vandalised train stations. During the day, office workers joined protesters for more lunchtime marches in several districts before tensions rose again by nightfall.
