🟥 TO ALL WHO BOUGHT THE Z690i rev 1.0 BOARD 🟥
Please note that Gigabyte announced an exchange/refund option on their website. Depending on where or how you bought it, you can process an exchange (to the PLUS version of the board) or a refund to your account. Fortunately, the store where I bought my original z690i board from was kind enough to process my request for a refund. Check out the exchange/refund option below:

For future buyers of this board, please take note of the "PLUS" word on the print so you won't get the version with the PCIE issues. The "LITE" version of the board can only be set to PCIE 3.0.

Gigabyte silently rolled out a "PLUS" version of the board which assumably "fixes" the PCIE 4.0 issue while rebranding the old boards to "LITE". If you're still considering this board, please make sure that you're getting the "PLUS" board and not the "LITE"

If you're planning to buy the Gigabyte Z690i Aorus Ultra DDR4/DDR5 motherboard, I suggest buying a board from a different brand instead as I and a lot of other people are experiencing PCIE Compatibility issues, WHEA errors, and Blue screens. I suggest holding off buying this board until Gigabyte fixes this mess up. Goodbye for now, Gigabyte!! 😪😪😪
