This video shows how Denuvo DRM influenced the performance of Middle-earth: Shadow of War video game.
In this case Denuvo reduces CPU performance by ~5-15%, depending on a certain scene/location. Overall gameplay seems to be a bit smoother without Denuvo, especially if you have a budget or mid range CPU. Moreover Denuvo consumes additional ~1,5-2 GB of RAM. And, finally, loading times are decreased.
Graphics quality is set to "Ultra" in both cases, except shadows, which were set to "Medium". AA and Motion blur are disabled and resolution reduced to 540p to eliminate GPU bottleneck.

System specs:
GPU: Gainward RTX 3060 Ghost
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - OCed  to 4550 MHz (via Curve optimizer)
RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G32C16U4R - OCed to 3800 MHz [16-20-20-40 CR2 + tightened subtimings]
Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH Wi-Fi (AM4, mATX)
CPU cooler: Thermalright Burst Assassin 120 (1x120mm fan, 6 copper heat pipes, ~180 W)
Storage: Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB HDD
