Backhandspring Fear #Shorts

As a coach, I find myself in this position often.  I know that this athlete is capable of doing a backhandspring.  She KNOWS she can do a backhandspring.  The only thing stopping her is her.

But that’s life, right?  I’d bet you did something this week to get in your own way. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Fears tend to dictate our actions despite our capabilities. 💯

I have come to realize that an athlete that learns how to conquer their fear can transform into an adult who changes the world.  So, I believe it is a disservice to mankind to get impatient with an athlete learning how to deal fear. #MindFull

People have called me “magical” when it comes to helping athletes overcome their fear.  They say a magician never reveals his/her secrets, lol…but I’m willing to share two of mine.
