I've had a Cuisinart electric
I've had a Cuisinart electric pressure cooker for 10+ years now - way before the Instant Pot. It has never failed me. It has never needed a replacement silicone seal and the fact that it doesn't have all the digital bells and whistles means there is less to break down. After all these years, after all the other pressure cookers that have come and gone and stuck around, the Cuisinart pressure cooker is still my go-to pressure cooker.
Don't be afraid - it's very, very simple to use and is packed with safety features!
