14.9. Automatic Test Pattern Generation

A lot of testing setups require test vectors that can be generated on the fly. This is where Automatic Test Pattern Generation, or ATPG for short comes in. Tests generated from ATPG have to exhibit certain properties so that they can achieve good fault coverage rapidly.
