In our current world, social distancing is a positive step to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Even though we need to be apart, The Mayhem Lab is not going to stop making videos!

This week we look at using an STM32 Blue Pill to make a Stylophone. This is definitely not a new project, and many different references can be found on sites like Hackaday. We are recreating a Stylophone to (hopefully) use for a village project at a future conference, and it’s just a really fun toy to have on your desk.

As you will see in the video, we have a few flaws with the PCBs, but that’s why we prototype! In a future video, we will look at our workaround for the design issues and get a prototype working.
Did you find this video helpful? Have you worked with the STM32 for a project? Do you find these types of projects interesting? Let us know in the comments.
