Let’s talk about lupus and hair loss in women.
This space is about spreading lupus awareness. I also talk about the connection between trauma and chronic illness. I share some information I’ve learned from living with lupus. I was diagnosed with lupus in February 2020. I still have a lot to learn and would like to learn from you if you’ve had the illness much longer. I use this space to share resources and insights I've found helpful along the way. Only by feeling compassion for yourself can you feel compassion for others. If you cannot love yourself, you cannot love others, and you cannot stand to see others loved. If you cannot treat your own self kindly, you will resent that treatment when you see it in anyone else. If you cannot love yourself, loving others becomes a very painful endeavor with only occasional moments of comfort.
