There is no denying that vitamin A in skin care is essential - vitamin A is a cell communicator and is vital for healthy skin. Vitamin A is converted to retinoic acid and boosts collagen and elastin production, normalises blood flow, stabilises pigmentation production and sebum production, and controls ceramide production so that your skin stays firmer, clearer, more hydrated and healthier.

So how can you get more vitamin A retinoids into your skin?

Here is my guide because, let's be honest, retinols can cause redness, peeling, sensitivity to sunlight and irritation. But they are worth sticking with, so here's how to step up a little bit at a time to get your skin used to them - it will thank you in the long term I promise.
