Using a Nova-Pro® handheld stroboscope from Monarch Instrument, V-TEK demonstrates resonant frequencies inherent in machine vibration and vibration analysis. By matching the rotation frequency of the  MVAT6-01 the strobe flashing ‘freeze frames’ or creates an optical stop-motion of the rotor. This also captures the cantilever beam which is moving in resonant harmonics with the machine vibration.
By adjusting the strobes flash rate (1822 fpm – 1862 fpm) while the rotation of the machine is a constant (1844 rpm), the strobe illustrates ‘Virtual Slow Motion’ both in forward and reverse rotation. Note the cantilever beam’s swaying movement. Many of our customer'suse the Virtual Slow Motion features built into all Nova-Pro® and illumiNova® strobes to visualize a condition which appears during a rotation or reciprocating action of a machine.
