Inspired by the days of theforce.net fan films, this started out like most of these projects go. Some friends and I decided that we wanted to see what we could do in terms of lightsaber choreography and special effects and Keetin wanted stunts and action on her acting reel. We knew this was a bit ambitious for our first project but it seemed like a lot of fun. What can we say? We love Star Wars. Like, a lot.
This video was shot over the course of 5 hours, with about a month’s worth of weekends and scattered weekdays of practices to learn the fight leading up to the shoot. Multiple saber malfunctions, sore muscles, and dirty costumes later, we ended up with this little piece which we are quite proud of, especially considering our strict limitations.
This was a great first run and we plan on creating much more visually appealing and high production content, coming soon.
