K-Wagen (also Kolossal-wagen, Kolossal or
K-Wagen (also Kolossal-wagen, Kolossal or simply K, sometimes the name Großkampfwagen is found) is a German super—heavy tank of the First World War period. It was distinguished by its huge size and weight, which is why it was rather not a tank, but a "mobile fort". By the end of the war, not a single tank was completely finished, and the unfinished first copy of the tank and the details of the second one were destroyed immediately after the end of the war.
