when you want health but you also want bubble tea
I present to you crystal cubes lol, aka konnyaku which pretty much has 0 calories, cholesterol, fat, and sugar. It’s also high in a fibre called glucomannan that helps with weight loss! (Similar to crystal pearls)
I made two flavours, brown sugar oat milk and green grape slush, and both are vegan :D

Ingredients for:
Topping
- 1 pack of Konnyaku
brown sugar oat milk
- half a pack of konnyaku
- 60g brown sugar
- oat milk (depends on size of cup and amount of ice)
- ice
green grape slush
- 15g white sugar (5g for konnyaku + 10g for drink)
- 300g frozen green grapes
- 15g lemon juice
- 150g water (filtered or previously boiled and chilled)
- ice
Method:
1. Rinse konnyaku, cut into small cubes, Blanche in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, strain and split into two bowls to make two flavours
2. For brown sugar oat milk flavour, pan fry brown sugar and half of the konnyaku until sugar has melted, bring to a boil then simmer until reduced (konnyaku isn't starchy and releases moisture so it may not thicken easily)
3. to assemble, add brown sugar konnyaku cubes, ice, and oat milk (stir before drinking)
4. For green grape slush, mix in 5g of white sugar to the other half of the konnyaku cubes while it’s hot and let it cool
5. blend frozen green grapes, lemon juice, 10g white sugar, and water together
6. to assemble, add konnyaku cubes, ice, and green grape slush
