How to allow apps blocked by Windows Security (Defender)

Today i'm going to show
Today i'm going to show you how to allow an app that is being blocked by windows defender.
To unblock an app by defender use the following steps.
From the taskbar open windows security.
Then click on "Virus and Threat protection"
Next click on "Manage settings"
Scroll down
under exclusions click on "Add or remove exclusions"
Then click yes.
Next click on "Add an exclusion"
and select the file or folder you want to exclude.
In my case it's the file Formatfactory.exe
then click on open.
Please note that Windows defender will never scan items that has been excluded therefore it's really important to only exclude the items that you trust.
