Prince Süleyman receives the unfortunate news while on a hunting trip with his closest companion, Pargalı İbrahim. His father, Yavuz Sultan Selim Han, has passed away. Without hesitation, Prince Süleyman sets out for Istanbul. He rapidly reaches the capital and participates in the coronation ceremony without delay. His life changes in a day. He begins his reign as Sultan Süleyman.
Meanwhile, a slave-laden ship is approaching Istanbul from the Black Sea. The most passionate among the slaves is unaware that he is embarking on a journey that will change his destiny. He rebels desperately, with no hope of turning back.
Sultan Süleyman wants to show what kind of a sultan he is on the first day of his reign with the orders he gives. However, these decisions may not please everyone. Sultan Süleyman, nonetheless, does not hesitate to challenge all of Europe with the messages he sends.
Despite Alex's rebellious attitude, he is brought to Topkapı Palace. His demeanor immediately captures the attention of Valide Sultan. However, it doesn't take long for Alex to learn the rules of the palace. He sets himself a great goal. Alex manages to attract the attention of Sultan Süleyman on the first night he faces him. Sultan Süleyman's wife, Mahidevran, has just arrived from the Manisa palace and is eagerly awaiting a meeting with her husband.
