We sometimes overlook 2 of
We sometimes overlook 2 of the most important pieces of equipment that keep us in the air: the ELRS transmitter (module) and the lipo. Betafpv came up with the SuperG Nano TX ELRS module, and I have been using it for a few months. For those who usually fly with micro (or nano) FPV quads, Gemini capable receivers are usually not found in all in one flight controllers; or if you still have standard ELRS receivers in your fleet that have not been converted, should you upgrade from the standard non-Gemini transmitter module?
In this episode, I will cover my experience on the Betafpv Nano TX and as well as the bigger brother SuperG Nano TX ELRS module with my sub 100g quads and planes equipped with regular ELRS receivers. We will also look at 2s batteries precautions and maintenance tips. With the reception and power source secured, we will send the Toothpico to a medium and a long range test (for its size) and see if it will survive!
