Picking Corn 2012

Picking corn on October 27, with my 1949 Oliver 66, and Oliver Model 73-H Picker Husker. I basically just pulled the picker out of a fence row earlier this summer, and didnt really give it to much attention, other than what absolutely needed fixed. All things considered, it did pretty good. I couldnt run slow enough and as you can see, it was leaving some husks because it was overwhelming the little 8 roll husking bed. It was a good machine back in the 60's when 80 bpa corn was good, but doesnt have quite enough snot to handle 150 bpa corn. Plus, it didnt help that the rubber rolls were are hard from sitting outside for so long, and they dont quite have the grab they used to. Next time I use it, it will either go behind my 1955, or Matts 1655 since they have a lower creeper gear than my 66. Running slower should help quit a bit. Dont mind the three guys in the wagon. Normally  we would never do that, but it was the first time any of us had picked corn and we were kinda excited.This is my first video so the quality isnt that great.
