The neighborhood became popular for several months. Everyone talks about Provenza, that street, aleph of the world where there are restaurants of all kinds —Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai, Creole food—, and those visitors know it better than any paisa born and raised in the Belén neighborhood.
The place, Generation magazine wrote a few months ago, acquired its importance before Caron G's song, but now, when millions and millions have seen Provenza's video on YouTube, and it is one of the songs of the Spanish summer, the place acquires the attributes of a fetish for visiting.
The website that made the listing describes Provenza as a thoroughfare "bordered by the leafy foliage typical of Medellin and a stone's throw from the bustling Parque Poblado and Parque Lleras, and lively enough to go from day to night.".
