Red & Orange Abstract Acrylic Painting with Glazing Technique

Acrylic abstract painting created with
Acrylic abstract painting created with black and white paint then glazed with colour.
First I painted a grey scale background and splattered black and white paint on the entire surface.
When it was dry, I drew out the lines and circles with a white charcoal pencil and a circle template.
I added glazing medium to red and orange acrylic paint and painted the color on the grey scale drawing.
Then I highlighted the orange spaces with yellow and shaded the red spaces with brown(mixed with a tad of red).
I painted this on a piece of 9" x 11" watercolour paper. It can be painted on a canvas of any size. Change the colour to suit you!
This is a very easy abstract. I think it has a contemporary feel to it.
