1970-71 Television Season 50th Anniversary: All in the Family (Carroll O'Connor 1971 Cavett Show)

We are spending a good part of this month of January 2021 paying tribute to the television classic All in the Family, which debuted fifty years ago this month on the CBS television network.

Although by today's standards, the show is not a ground breaking, or earth shaking, back in 1971, All in the Family shook television to its core.   This video clip is from an interview with All in the Family star Carroll O'Connor did on The Dick Cavett Show back in 1971.
