The book has been discredited partially because it contains information about fallen angels who mate with humans and propagate the race called the Nihilim. The original text was lost at the end of the fourth century but then recovered from Abyssinia, in Ethiopia, in 1773. The
Ethiopian Christian sect is the only group including the Book of Enoch in their scriptures.
