Neck lift is a surgery
Neck lift is a surgery doe to improve the contour of the neck. The neck contour may be lost because of excess of fat gain or because of excessive fat loss or in old age because of gravity and because tissues become lax and muscles stretch out. So in this case a neck lift is done, there are many procedures to be done. There are minimally invasive procedures to do it. There are minimally invasive procedures which are surgically known as thread lift. These are done with minimal surgical incisions and scars and thread lift lifts the neck folds temporarily. This would last anywhere between 1 to 3 years. But as gravity takes hold, again the neck lift will sag. It may sag to almost previous extent or to a lesser extent. The other way to do it sis surgically tighten the neck or to loosen the folds to do a combination of surgery or liposuction to tighten the neck. These surgical interventions may last a little longer. they may last upto 5 years and as gravity takes over or as age takes over these tissues will sag but the tissues will not sag as much as previously. So neck lift depending on the type of procedure, it lasts for anywhere between 1 to 5 years.
