They've given up. Our democratic officials in Washington DC have given up and they are ready to concede the 2024 election to Donald Trump. Folks. That is what an elected Democrat told Axios like, well, we're kind of just whatever now on Biden, because we all pretty much agree that Donald Trump's gonna win. And it is important to note, of course, that this statement was made after the shooting. And historically, when a political candidate or a politician gets shot, their approval rating does see an immediate bounce, the sympathy bounce, if you want to call it that. They also get bounces from their respective conventions. So Trump's got two bounces coming, add in a third with the Judge Cannon decision this week. So yeah, Trump's poll numbers are gonna go pretty high at the end of this week. Okay? That is a given. Do not read too much into it because that's expected. With all of these events happening at once, will they stay high? That remains to be seen, but it, none of that even matters if the Democrats in DC are already thrown off their hands like, well, Trump's gonna win. Screw it, we're done. Don't need to fight it. Let's just sit back and let it happen. Right? Because these people, these Democrats who are out there saying, yeah, Trump's gonna get a second term, but whatever. They don't have anything to fear, actually. I mean, they do, but you know, they don't think that they do.
It's just us that'll suffer, right? The average Americans out there that will see your rights stripped away if Donald Trump gets in office and project 2025 gets implemented. We're talking about a full on assault on public education from Project 2025 that calls for the elimination of the Department of Education. We were talking about a complete dismantling of the Department of Justice, including the defunding of the FBI itself. They're talking about banning the morning after medication. They're talking about banning birth control that people can receive by mail. And if you think by mail is the only part of that, they're gonna attack.
