Sreenivasan often takes leave from work in his attempt to succeed in new business ventures. Sreenivasan is married to Sangita and they have daughters. With Sreenivasan failing in any new business ventures, his father suggests he take a pilgrimage trip to Sabarimala. On his return, Sreenivasan becomes more like a saint almost abandoning his own family. Sreenivasan almost leads a life of Saint by doing only prayer and staying away from responsibilites. Soon, Sreenivasan becomes unwelcome in his house with Sangita getting more irritated with him. What happens to the family forms the rest of the story.
