Real tennis at Lord's - the Home of Cricket.

On a tour of Lord's today, we visited the real tennis court. The guide, John Adams, explained that the name 'real tennis' comes from royal tennis, as it was played by kings including King Henry Vlll. Lord's is the home of cricket where the MCC is located - all the great cricket players of the world look forward to playing here, and a tour of this iconic ground is a fabulous experience. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, you have the opportunity to see inside the spaceship-like Media Centre, the Long Room and the team Dressing Rooms where you can walk in the footsteps of Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Jacques Kallis and all the great cricketers going back to WG Grace. http://www.lords.org/lords/things-to-...
