Equivalent Length (EL) - Duct Fittings

In this video we explain the concept of equivalent for duct fittings. At times designers and contractors use the term effective length, however, to be consistent and avoid any misunderstanding we call this concept as Equivalent length not effective length.  Below are the links were we can obtain duct fitting EL tables. Additionally, ASHRAE has a Database for a broader duct fitting characteristics and especially loss coefficients.
