The final manufacturing step, the fill-finish process is a crucial one in overall drug production. It comes after upstream bioprocessing and purification of active ingredients from cell cultures or fermentations - this will be followed by downstream preparation for further operations like drying if necessary before filling into capsules with inert material as required by law
The Fill-Finish process is typically considered to be the most complex stage because it deals directly with interacting all these different stages together so they are integrated seamlessly when you take your medication at time interval planned out earlier on during development.
