Hello Everyone!

Nothing gets better than a good home cooked meal. For my family anything with gravy is always a win. My simple recipe for crockpot Salisbury steak is one I love to make any time of the year. I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as mine.

Salisbury Steak
2 lb. Ground beef (I use 85/15)
1/2 C. Plan Breadcrumbs
1 T. Lawry's Season Salt
1/2 t. Coarse Kosher Salt
1/2 t. Garlic Salt
1/4 t. Black Pepper
1 Large Egg beaten with 2 T. Water
2 T. Butter (to sear patties in)
1/3 of Large Yellow (sweet onion) sliced. You can use more or less based on your taste
8 oz White Mushrooms sliced
1/4 C. Fresh chopped Flat Leaf Parsley or 1 T. Dried Parsley Flakes
3 C. Beef Broth or Stock (I use Knorr's Beef Broth Bouillon)
Gravy Roux
5 T. Soft Unsalted Butter
5 T. Flour

Cook 4-5 hours on high or 7-8 hours on low. Makes 8-10 patties, about 4 inches long and 1/2 inch thick. Patties are done when they are firm in the center and have no pink in the middle internal temp (160 degrees, 71.1 C).
