A corporate bond will mature
A corporate bond will mature in 10 years. The bonds have a face value of $1,000 and an 8% coupon rate, paid semiannually. The price of the bonds is $1,100. The bonds are callable in 5 years at the call prince of $1050.
YTM (Yield to Maturity) is the bondholder's return if all the promised payments are made. However, the bonds can be callable, that means the corporation wants to pay a lower rate (usually the market is less expensive for them) and they call the bond, that is the YTC (Yield to Call)
Enjoy it!!
