Today we’d like to talk about a phenomenon known as trading sentiment. The term itself is used to describe how traders are feeling about a certain financial instrument or market. And the sentiment trading strategy is used to help define whether a market is currently bullish or bearish.

There are a number of trading sentiment indicators that are taken into consideration when determining whether the sentiment of a market is positive or negative. And despite being about “feelings”, these are hard numbers or graphic representations about what mood traders are in regarding a certain market.

Sentiment based trading can also be applied to stocks and other assets, and not just forex. So it’s a useful tool that can complement any trading strategy.
