Ombre Dip Dye Nail Art!
Ombre Dip Dye Nail Art! I posted a photo on instagram of this nail design and I had a lot of people asking how I did it and for a tutorial.
Steps:
I used a bronze/gold nail polish as the base color and then mixed 5 shades of teal. Make sure your polish or acrylic paint is thin so the brush strokes can be thin.
1) With a thin brush, make several lines in white.
2) Do the same with the next lightest color (mint), but leave some of the white showing.
3) Continue this pattern further up the nail with the rest of the colors.
4) Add a top coat and you're done!
I named this nail design dip dye nails because the small brush strokes remind me of dip dyed hair. If you wanted to try a different way of getting ombre nails or were having trouble with sponging, this might be fun to try. I used a bronze/gold and teal for this design, but you can use any colors.
