The Spreewald region in Germany is an absolute must see. It is an enchanting area filled with lots of canals and cute houses. It feels like fairy tale. The Spreewald is the perfect day or weekend trip from Berlin as it is really close. It only takes about an hour to get from the city center in Berlin to Lübbenau - the main town in the Spreewald area. The Spreewald is the perfect getaway from the city and it is a relaxing and fun place to visit.
