Overuse and sports injuries of the ankle and foot are common, and ultrasound has been established as an excellent diagnostic modality for pathologies in this area.  In this video Dr. Greg Fritz uses high frequency ultrasound to examine the tendons, ligaments and joint spaces in a patient experiencing ankle pain and swelling.
