Diabetes is a difficult condition. Whether type 1 or type 2. Both can be treated with insulin.
Typically it is type 1 diabetes that requires insulin. Type 2 diabetes can use insulin. It helps manage difficult type 2 diabetes.
Within type 1 diabetes where insulin should be enough to control the condition there is an exception. Brittle diabetes. This is not a kind of diabetes caused by peanut brittle.
Instead it is a term fr a specific kind of type diabetes mellitus. It is typified by wild fluctuations in blood sugar, or glucose, levels that do not respond well to insulin or at least not as expected. This is not an insignificant issue as it can kill.
Symptoms of brittle diabetes includes:
Feeling shaky
Nervousness or anxiety
Sweating, chills
Irritability
Confusion
Fast heart rate
Dizziness
Nausea
Blurred vision
Weakness
Headache
Seizures
Unconsciousness
The cause of this kind of type 1 diabetes are at least some what known. They are psychological, neuropathies, digestive issues and some psychological conditions.
