In this episode, I visited a suburban market in Guiyang, Guizhou, China, called "Da Shanghai." Established in 2007, this market initially started as a flower market and gradually developed into a comprehensive weekend market.
The market does not have fixed stalls or shops; all stalls are temporary setups. Some vendors drive large trucks carrying food equipment to set up their stalls, while others push small carts, moving around the market to sell food. Children either help their parents with the stalls or come to the market with their parents to shop. They run around and play, filling the market with laughter and adding vibrant energy to the atmosphere.
After exploring the lively market, I went to Minsheng Road Leisure Street in the old town of Guiyang. On this street, I tasted some local delicacies, each one incredibly delicious and unforgettable.
