What sets Dahlin apart is his simplicity in footwork, making it look effortless. While many players rely on crossovers to move laterally, Dahlin utilizes the shuffle, soft drag, corkscrew, and the 10 and 2 technique, both forwards and backwards. His ability to seamlessly transition between these movements allows him to mirror his opponents and maintain superior control without overcommitting.
🕷️ One prime example is when he closes the gap on his opponent in the corner, using a combination of shuffle, corkscrew, and the 10 and 2 technique. This spider-like agility is a result of not getting locked into one direction, ensuring he's always ready to make a move.
