A self-sufficient person also has a workshop - there he does as much as possible himself. Repair broken things, build your own furniture or make garden tools. But the machines have wearing parts - such as the saw blade of the band saw. This needs to be sharpened or changed every now and then.

If you have runner ducks in your garden, you no longer have slugs. But if you want to keep ducks, you need a garden pond. But it needs clean water regularly because the ducks pollute the pond a lot. Using a dirty water pump, Rigotti directs the “dirty” water into the greenhouse using an old fire hose and uses it as the very best garden fertilizer.

Dried fruit: In the dehydrator, Rigotti not only dries chili, tomatoes, herbs and mushrooms, but also pears - they taste wonderful in fruit bread or muesli.
