Palak Moong Dal Preparation. It
Palak Moong Dal Preparation. It tastes very good with Rice/ Roti. Very Healthy for Kids
Ingredients:
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Onion - 1 Small
Urad Dal - 1 tsp
Moong Dal - 1/2 Cup
Curry Leaves
Green Chilli - 3
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Spinach - 1 big bunch (3 Cups)
Salt - As per Taste
Preparation :
Heat Oil in a pan on Medium Heat.
Once hot, add Urad dal and saute till golden brown.
At this point, You can add whole/ Chopped garlic which is optional.
Now add Onions and Green Chillis fry them for a minute.
Then add Curry leaves, Turmeric and Ginger Garlic Paste. Saute till the raw smell of the ginger garlic disappears.
Now Add Moong Dal, Mix well for a minute.
Finally add Spinach and Salt. Mix well for about 5 minutes.
let it cook without the lid on for about 5 minutes.
Now Cover with Lid and Cook for another 5 minutes.
Spinach Moong Dal fry/ Palakura Pesarapappu fry is ready to be served with Rice or Roti.
