NZ Fishing | Wharf | Kahawai & Yellowtail Kingfish

2 days ago I decided to head out to the wharf and try my luck on some kahawai. It was great going back to basics once again after having not much luck on surfcasting. Unfortunately I had a really rough day as every fish I hooked up to, kept on getting off. I ended up losing 3 kahawais altogether that morning. Today however I was able to land not only a good sized kahawai but also a kingfish as well which was released unharmed.
