The new big expedition of
The new big expedition of "Redaktsiya" is dedicated to the Cossack. The last time they went public was this summer when it was claimed that they would become a part of the National Guard and would be given weapons. Many people stood up against it because these people are just wearing a fancy uniform and suppressing street protests. How are these Cossacks related to those who were the contemporaries of an ataman Matvey Platov and to those who were being repressed and eliminated as a class and as an ethnos in the 20th century?
In this video we will try to understand who Cossacks were for Russia and who they are for it now. That's why we decided to go to 2 main Cosaack regions: Kuban' and Don.
