Today we are going to reflect on "The Three Metamorphosis" of Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Zarathustra, more than a fictional character invented by the German philosopher, is the narrative of a prophet whose sole purpose is to raise human consciousness. He can sometimes dazzle you with his words, and sometimes his words can ring in your ears like sparkling hammer blows. Be that as it may, his claim is to awaken the sleeping spirit of humanity, so that whoever has ears to hear cannot remain indifferent to his message.

Zarathustra tells a parable that has to do with the evolution of consciousness. He says that the spirit changed into a camel, the camel into a lion, and the lion into a child. They are three precious symbols that have a precise meaning.

What moves Zarathustra's spirit is compassion towards men who live abandoned to a life without purpose. This is the time that Nietzsche defined as nihilism, which comes from the Latin concept "nihilismus" which translated into our language means lack of goal. There is no longer a God who consecrates men to a higher destiny, existence has lost its divine meaning. However, Zarathustra's mission and preaching is not for the human being to recover the old values, but rather his teaching points to the ultimate liberation from submission to any ideology, religious, political, social and economic doctrine. .
